Centrally positioned on the Hoe, but a stone’s throw from the site of Sir Francis Drake’s famous game of bowls. We are within 5 minutes walk from the city centre shops and Theatre Royal,and only 3 minutes from the Pavilions. Plymouth Registry Office is only a minute away and we are roughly the same distance from the sea itself! The Barbican is walkable in 10 minutes, as is the Brittany ferries port; where regular ferries to Roscoff and Santander can be found.
You will find a very warm welcome for all at the family-run Riviera B&B. The establishment’s fine staircase leads to 11 bright and airy guest bedrooms set on four floors, whilst the guest lounge makes for a comfortable and homely atmosphere to relax and unwind after the day’s sightseeing. Each bedroom has a Freeview colour television, a radio/alarm clock and a hair-drier. Tea/coffee-making facilities are also provided. A hearty breakfast is included in the room rate and vegetarian meals are provided on request.
Flasks can be made up for day trips on request for £2.00. Likewise, a variety of sandwiches are also available, but requires a minimum of 12 hours notice. For walkers we provide a service for forwarding on their luggage. We are also able to dry wet clothes. Guests are provided with a set of keys that allow them access at any time during their stay.
